They are the last man standing. The NPPL is gone. They don't have to do anything. Just put on 5 more events like last year and not totally fuck them up. Simple right?
If anything, with the popularity of 5-man on the rise in their league they could have added in another division. I mean if a team doesn't want to play X-ball, give them another option to keep them playing. Either they don't like X-ball and don't want to play it anymore, they are moving from 7-man to the PSP and feel better with 5-man, or whatever the excuse, give them the opportunity to give you their money.
After all, if you're going to change your rules again - at least use the opportunity to expand the parts of your league that are growing right?
The PSP doesn't have much money, it's obviously by where they hold their events. PBC and AA Paintball Park are both owned by owners of the PSP.
So how do you make more money? Bring more customers in to buy what you're selling. If you can't keep up with the demand, then increase the supply - or as a shrewd business people would tell you, if you can't then get out of the way.
The PSP has a golden oppertunity, and I'm wondering if they can exploit it or if it'll be squandered.
