I was talking with Dave the other day about the resources we are getting lined up. It turns out we have access to a 5th Axis CNC machine, as well as an 11 axis CNC machine. What that means is basically we'll be able to make more markers, with more complex cuts, in less time then using conventional CNC machines.

We have Jim Eaton lined up to do the cosmetic work on our guns, which I'm totally stoked about. For those who don't know him, Eaton was the first person to ever carve up a marker body. He made the Ripper line of guns, and still designs all the markers for Bob Long and a few others out there. Bottom line, he's good at making guns look pretty.

With our skills to make our guns go BANG, and his ability to make them look cool, I'm hoping for a winning combo when our new line of markers are released. Not to mention the price - sub $1000 anyone?

That's good and all, but that's all months away.

Right now I have a poll going in the FEP forum on PbN on new triggers designs. We are going to be putting out a limited edition run of OG and 07 Quests, maybe 200 or so, that will have a new trigger and new bolt kit included in them. Basically we're adding in some upgrades to improve that gun, to clear out the rest of the stock of parts we have, and to bring in some form of income to get the company primed and started up again.

I have to say, during this time it's pretty dumb to launch a new company into a sport that's taken a severe hit the last year or two. It's why we're going to avoid the pitfalls others have made before, and start slow and grass roots. We're getting feedback and input directly from players on PbN, making them feel more involved in the process and making them feel like part of the FEP Family. We're hoping on a lot of word of mouth and internet chatter initally, which is proven to work as long as your product is worth it's salt. Hey, it worked for Dangerous Power and their stuff is made from strait junked recycled metals out of Taiwan.
